TIGI (ye)S-Factor

So, I wanted to try these products out for a while before I review them and that time has come. I realise that not all of these products are from the S-Factor range, but they were definitely my favourites.

TIGI S-Factor True Lasting Colour Shampoo & Conditioner

First of all, the smell amazing. To me the smell is sort of peachy (but a couple of days ago they really reminded me of pineapple! Fancy!) and stays on your hair all day but is very subtle which I find very nice. Second, the shampoo really cleans your hair, isn't hard to wash out.. which is what everybody wants in a shampoo, right? Although, the lather isn't amazing. I'm not sure if that's just because of my type of hair though. The conditioner is thick enough that it really conditions your hair, but isn't so thick that it's more like a hair mask and it leaves your hair feeling so super soft! The conditioner is also really easy to wash out which makes conditioning really long hair so much easier. After your hair is dry, it has a fantastic shine. It's almost shimmer.. without looking like you just dipped your head in glitter. As I am a massive fan of anything that reflects light, major brownie points were awarded. My only problem is that they retail for about 30 pounds for a set and it's a little expensive for a student so I have to spend wisely when I want to purchase these products. \

TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo (300ml)

Staying on the topic of shampoo, the Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo is quite a good product although, I probably wouldn't re-purchase. The smell isn't my favourite but it doesn't leave that white, powdery look on your hair after application which is definitely a redeeming point. It does add texture to your hair and you can use it when you've just washed (and dried) your hair if you hair is a bit flat or heavy. The trick with dry shampoo is to let it sit for a minute or two to let it do its job and I feel that this does work, but it's just too pricey for what it is as it's about 10 pounds a bottle.

TIGI S-Factor True Lasting Colour Hair Oil (100ml)

TIGI S-Factor True Lasting Colour Hair Old (100ml)
Bonus product! I ordered this after I'd already posted my previous post and i'm so glad I did! This little beauty retails for about 20 pounds a bottle which you'd think was a lot for 100ml but it is absolutely fantastic! It smells really delicious but not over-bearing so you could wear it without being worried that it would overpower anything else. I feel a little goes a long, long way with this product. My hair is quite long and dry (unfortunately) so I use three to four pumps of this while it's wet and it makes my dry hair feel super healthy, soft, smells amazing and as for heat protection, you just have to hope it's doing its job. I even use this on my dry hair to persuade it to be a little less frizzy and it doesn't make it oily and disgusting. It's just a lovely product.

TIGI S-Factor Body Booster Plumping Spray (200ml)

Unfortunately, I really did not like this product. It retails for about 13-ish pounds and I feel it was a completely waste of money. I don't like the smell at all as it's a bit medicine-like and the product is just too heavy for my hair. My hair isn't very thick but is very long and has no layers so it just did not mix well at all. I know a few people with shorter layers who love this product though so if that sounds like you, maybe you'd enjoy this product a lot more than I did!

TIGI Catwalk Session Series Salt Spray (270ml)

TIGI Catwalk Session Series Salt Spray (270ml)
I'm still a bit unsure of this product. I haven't tried it out all that often because it's winter and i'm worried that a salt-spray will damage my already damaged hair a little bit more. I also don't think i've quite got the hang of how to use it which is a tad annoying when you want lovely beachy hair and end up with blow-dried straight, crunchy hair from where i've clearly gone wrong. If anybody has any pointers, i'll be gladly listening! I do love the smell and packaging though! It is delightful!

Has anybody tried any of these products before? What did you think of them?

Love,

Eloise
